Obituary for
Wesley Thomas Vert Jr.
Wesley Thomas Vert, Jr., 67, of Spokane, WA passed away September 13, 2017 in Spokane. He was born March 2, 1950 in Portland, OR to Wesley Sr. and Madge Vert.
He graduated high school at Polson High School in Polson, MT. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served for over 20 years and retired as a Senior Master Sargent. While in the Air Force he earned both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees. On June 14, 1986 he married Sadie Vert in Spokane and together they had one son Wesley III. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones and especially loved spending time at Flathead Lake in Polson, MT. He was a passionate sports fan and enjoyed watching football and Gonzaga Basketball. Wesley was a devoted member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes.
He is survived by his wife Sadie Vert; only son Wesley Vert III; his parents Wesley Vert Sr. and Madge Vert; brothers Steve and Chris and a sister Tami Avison.
Visitation will be Monday and Tuesday, 10am-5pm, at Heritage Funeral Home in Spokane and a Rosary at 9:30 AM Wednesday, September 20, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, 1115 W. Riverside Avenue, Spokane. Interment with the Rite of Committal will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017, 10:00 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery, Polson, with full military honors.
