Wayne Roger Hebert

Wayne R. Hebert, age 67, of Dayton, MT passed away peacefully at home on January 29, 2025.

Wayne’s passion for flying led to a career primarily as a remote sensing pilot with Diane working by his side for 30 years. An all-time favorite was taking people on “Wildog” flights and there were many. 

Winters were devoted to skiing! With a Level 3 Ski Certification he loved to teach and offer help to nieces, nephews and friends. His ski tuning techniques were meticulous. Other interests were hockey, kayaking and hiking. He was a generous host and welcomed all guests.

At the lake, Wayne was known for his rib cook outs. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Roger and Margaret Hebert. 

Wayne is survived by his loving wife Diane; brothers Mark, Grant, and Greg (Michelle); many nieces and nephews; brothers-in law, sisters-in law; and aunts and uncles. 

His passing has left a void in the hearts of family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by him. A heartfelt thank you to the Partners in Home Care hospice team and his “Guardian Angels”.
