Obituary for Vivian Lucille McGeaughay

Vivian Lucille Irwin McGeaughay, age 82, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at St Luke Extended Care in Ronan, MT.

Vivian was born in Billings, MT, June 20, 1934 to Lyle and Violet Irwin. She graduated from Ronan High School in 1952. She graduated from Canadian Bible College in Regina, SK with a BA in Christian Education.

After graduation she moved to Dawson Creek, British Columbia and met Francis McGeaughay. They married June 27, 1959. They were happily married for 56 years.

Vivian was active in the church serving in Sunday school teaching, training, Vacation Bible School director and pastor's wife. Much of her time was spent raising their four children. She encouraged their skills, talents, and built a strong Christian foundation for each of them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Violet Irwin, and sisters, Goldie Irwin and Hazel Irwin Steinert.

Vivian is survived by her husband, Francis of Ronan, MT; her daughter Melonie Tindall of Greely, CO; her daughter Marsha Hendrix (Doug) of Mt. Juliet, TN; her son Norman McGeaughay of Polson, MT; her daughter Candice Scott (Matt) of Ohio; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
