Obituary for
Tim Flaherty
Tim Martin Flaherty, 55, of Missoula, MT, our beloved brother and dearest friend passed away suddenly on the morning of Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Community Medical Center, Missoula. Tim was the kindest man and friend to all that crossed his path. He was always the first to open his doors with a kind word and smile. The mountain was never too high for him to climb to give a helping hand. We were all blessed to call him our brother and friend. Tim was born to Louis and Betty Gillespie Flaherty on March 6, 1956. His life began in Great Falls and he graduated from Great Falls High and the University of Montana. Through his journey he worked as a property manager in Montana and Alaska. Upon his return to Great Falls, he opened Treasure Pawn in 1986. His Irish blood took hold and in 2002 he relocated to Missoula to be closer to his family. Tim is survived by his sister, Sheila Buchanan (John), brother, Bryan Flaherty (Linda), niece, Erynn Flaherty, nephews, Brendan Flaherty, Chad Bauer (Tiffany), Eric Bauer (Brittney), great niece, Layne Bauer and great nephews, Kyle May and Tyler Starkey. He was preceded in death by his father and mother. At the time of Tim's death he was a salesman with Karl Tyler Chevrolet. Tim's family would like to thank the EMT's and Community Medical Center for all the help they provided and also a deepest thank you to Dave who is a close friend.
