Thomas Edward Fox
Thomas Edward Fox - Tom went to join his grandparents, Tom and Blanche, his parents Glenn and Jenny Howell Fox, his sister Darlene and her husband Jack Palmer and his grandson Ryker on Sunday May 22, 2016.
He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Marshell, 3 sons, Tom Jr. Draper Utah, Tim (Muggy) Polson and Terry (Jenn) Lolo and a daughter Kathy (Steve) Meloy of Helena; Nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with the 12th on the way.
Tom was born in Salt Lake City April 18, 1935. He went to school in SLC and in Winnemucca Nevada until he was a freshman in High School when the family moved to Elko, Nevada where he met Marshell and they were married in 1953.
They moved to Bountiful, Utah where Tom began his career in welding. In 1971 they moved to Helena so Tom could pursue his love of the outdoors, fishing, hunting and golf. He was a welding instructor at the Helena Vo-Tech until 1985 when they moved to Polson where he and Marshell co-managed Lee Lodge. He retired in 1997 and at that time they spent their winters in AZ.
A private family celebration was held in conjunction with Marshell's birthday in March with all the family in attendance. Tom has requested that his ashes be spread near the Blackfoot river near Lincoln, Mt. No further ceremony is planned.
