Obituary for
Sharon Haigh
Sherry passed away February 7 in Polson, MT surrounded by family. Born August 6, 1934 in Hollywood, CA to Martin F. and Vida E. Conelly, the family soon moved to Seattle where Sherry was a 1952 graduate of Queen Anne High School. A year later,
Sherry married William P. Haigh and they began their 50 plus years together raising their family in the Madrona neighborhood before retiring to Mesa, AZ and finally Polson.
In addition to raising her children, Sherry also spent many years volunteering in the library and office of St. Teresa Grade School. Throughout her life Sherry enjoyed the company of many cat companions, a love of reading, the rewards of gardening and the magic of baseball. She leaves behind a legacy of flowers in both her Seattle and Polson gardens and one less cheer for the Mariners.
Sherry was preceded in death by her husband Bill and infant son John. She will be lovingly remembered by many including her children Teri (Carmen), Christopher, Laurel (Brian) and Andrew (Fre); former son-in-law Fred; her four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
As per her request, come summer, Sherry's ashes will be privately released in the hills above Polson. Be at peace Mom, we will miss you.
