Obituary for
Richard William "Dick" Silberman
Dick Silberman, age 73, left us in his rear view bike helmet mirror Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, doing one of the many things he enjoyed most, Snowshoeing up Hell Roaring Pass on a beautifully brisk Montana afternoon. His love for the outdoors is unparalleled, and can only be shadowed by the love he had for his family and his community.
Dick spent his days being a wonderful husband, father and grandfather to his family by sharing his passion for kayaking various streams that speckled the countryside, hiking and biking the many trails that meander the Pacific Northwest, or skiing down the slopes with a giant grin on his face.
Dick's youthful exuberance is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 46 years, Sharon Silberman of Ronan; son Cary (Barbrie) Silberman of Bozeman; grandson Warren Silberman; daughter Krista Kirsch of Ronan; granddaughters, Kyla and Kindra Kirsch; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Join us in celebrating Dicky Bills epic life at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Ronan Community Center. Come share your stories, your passion for the outdoors and your love of food with the rest of the people that have had the pleasure of knowing this great man. There will be a reception to follow, and we ask that all you other fellow cooks out there bring some side dish, salad or desert that you think he would have loved.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the local Flathead County Search and Rescue at 106 Fourth Ave. E., Polson, MT 59860.
