Phyllis "Flip" Irene Kresge Amick, age 88, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Flip was born April 8, 1927 in Akron, OH to Martin (ML) Luther and Nellie (Nell) Kresge. Flip loved reading, watching Westerns and listening to Glenn Miller music.
Her hobbies included travel with Lou in their 63 years of marriage, camping, boating and fishing. She loved gardening, cooking and knitting. Flip was a Girl Scout leader and Neighborhood Chairman for all three daughters, accumulating 17 years of Girl Scout volunteer service.
Flip's advice to her daughters and grandchildren was to be your own person and don't let peer pressure get to you. The values she treasured were: honesty, sincerity, and integrity.
