Patricia May Miller
Patricia M. (Stevens, McSloy) Miller, 68 of Ronan, MT passed away peacefully at her home on September 24, 2011.Born April 15, 1943 in Missoula, MT, to Maryann and Gordon Stevens, Pat attended schools in various towns in Montana and Tacoma, Washington. The family returned to Montana in 1958 and she graduated from Ronan High School in 1961. It was here Pat met the love of her life, Larry Miller, and married him in June 1961. She and Larry have lived in Ronan all their married life and raised two children, Dina and Scott. Pat worked as a waitress in local restaurants, including 23 years at the 4B's in Polson at which time she retired in 2002.Pat enjoyed raising her wonderful children and grandchildren, gardening, crocheting, photography and planting many flowers in the yard every spring. In June, Pat and Larry celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends. We will miss so many things, her ear to always listen to our problems and the many goodies that she made with love and always took out the calories. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, stepfather, Sister Judith and Brother Frank. Survivors include her loving husband, Larry: daughter, Dina Wilson (Jay) of Libby: Scott Miller (Lori Tromp) of Ephrata, Washington: Sisters Penny Gosney (Jerry) of Milwaukie, Oregon: Donna Burland of Kalispell: Kathy Hill (Chuck Schultz) of Kalispell. Brothers: Don McSloy (Maryann) of Columbia Falls: Lloyd McSloy (Jolie Fish) of Columbia Falls. Grandchildren: Kristopher Wilson (Sheri) of Kalispell: Andrew Miller (Tanya) of Moses Lake, Washington: Brendon Miller of Polson: Katarina Wilson of Kalispell: and Kaleb Wilson of Libby. Everyone who knew her dearly loved her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011, 2:00 PM at the Pablo Christian Church in Pablo, MT.
