Mona Miller

Mona Miller, 90, of Polson, MT, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010 while on an extended stay at the home of her daughter in Chiloquin, OR. Mona will be remembered for her open arms and caring ways to all. Born on April 8, 1920 in Arizona, Mona had lived several places until settling in Polson where she had resided for the past 60 years. She is preceded in death by her husband who passed away in 1968 and a son, Lamar O'Brien who passed away in 1974. Survivors include her children, LaRhae (Bob) Vert of Polson, Linda Emerick of Chiloquin, OR, Cody Miller of Polson, Mona (Larry) Smith of Polson, and Craig (Dana) Miller also of Polson: a brother, Sherman (Barbara) Strate of Bigfork, MT: 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren: a special niece, Sharon Wilkerson of Missoula and numerous other relatives and friends dear to her heart. She will be greatly missed by all. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
