Michael Lewis Koso started his journey on July 23, 2024. Michael was born to Wanda Caye Koso and William Koso Jr. in Anchorage, Alaska on August 6, 1992.
Michael was a Kootenai Indian and enrolled in the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes. In Michael’s young years, he lived in fishing villages throughout Alaska.
Michael moved to Elmo, MT at the age of 12. Michael had many jobs including landscaper, tree planter, and laborer. He enjoyed the mountains, swimming in Flathead Lake, berry picking, and being with his family and friends. Michael was caring, loving, and generous, always willing to help others.
He will be missed.
Surviving Michael are his daughter Agatha Koso; wife Jacinta Chiefstick; mother Wanda (Melvin) Rostad; father William Koso Jr.; brother Daniel (Michelle) Friday and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louie and Lucy Caye; William Sr and Mary Koso; brothers Daniel Koso and William Koso III.
A wake will begin on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 1:00 pm, rosary on Thursday night at 8:00 pm, and funeral service on Friday, July 26th at 10:00 am, all at Elmo Hall.
