Obituary for
Melisa Olivia Normandeau
Melisa Olivia (Lobdell) Normandeau was born Feb. 2, 1983. She passed away June 21, 2015 at St. Luke Hospital surrounded by family and friends from complications due to Bronchial Pneumonia. Through the years, Melisa has battled Huntington*s Disease with the strength and courage of a warrior. Melisa always loved being out with the horses, riding and grooming them any chance she had, especially if it meant getting out of chores! Being athletic throughout school and a talented artist, Melisa*s strengths were not only on the outside. She had the kindest heart and an amazing smile to match which is what made her nieces and nephews love visiting, take her on walks, coloring, and playing with her.
*Melisa is survived by her parents: Rose Tomasik and Steven Normandeax (Steve Lobdell); siblings: Eric Tomasik, Carol Wegner, Rob Hayes, Brice Normandeau, Jack Normandeau, Fontella Webster, Joshua Leroy (Lobdell) Normandeau, and Victoria Ann (Lobdell) Normandeau; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her birth mother: Catherine Lobdell, Grandmother: Rosemary *Bun* Leaverton, Grandfather: Louis Normandeau, Uncle: Lee Miller and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Melisa had a very large family that loved her, and will miss her dearly.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at St. Luke*s Extended Care, Mission Mountain Enterprises, and St. Luke*s Hospital for the quality care Melisa received during her battle with Huntington*s Disease.
