Mazilla B. Detwiler
Mazilla Belle Detwiler, 68, of Pablo, MT, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center, Kalispell, Montana. Mazilla was born on March 31, 1942 in Hereford, TX, a daughter of the late Robert Fredrick Burns and Edna Morrison Burns. She married Troy Leon Hollen on November 23, 1958 in Lakeport, CA and had six children from this union. She married Forrest Detwiler on December, 4, 1981 in Clayton, NM and had two children from this union. In 2008 , Mazilla moved from Oklahoma to Pablo, MT. Besides her parents, Mazilla is preceded in death by her husband, Forrest, two sisters-in-law, Pat and Ruth Burn: a brother-in-law, Dean Peters: a niece, Eddie Lee: and a nephew, Larry. Survivors include eight children, Timothy (Toni) Hollen of WY, William (Mija) Hollen of Korea, Mark (Jo'Dee) Hollen of OK, Mazilla (Dennis) McCarrell of OK, Nathan Hollen of AK, Sherree (Ernie) of Polson, MT, Autumn (Bobby) of Pablo, MT, Arie (Ann) of MT: eight brothers, Harold (Cleota) Burns of KS, John Burns of NM, Daniel Burns of KS, Frank Burns of KS, Fred Burns of KS, Marvin (Leanne) Burns of CA, George (Karen) Burns of KS, and Tom Burns of KS: three sisters, Freda (Lawrence) Ferrell of KS, Nancy Peters of KS, and Louise Umbarger of TX: numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Chapel of the Roses in Lakin, KS with a graveside service to follow. A dinner will be held for friends and family at the Lakin Fairground building immediately following the service. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family online at www.groganfuneralhome.com.
