December 21, 2001 — March 9, 2024

Polson

Our beloved Makeelin (Mak) L. Glass, 22 of Polson began his journey home Saturday, March 9, 2024, in Polson, MT. Mak was born in Polson, MT to Jimmy Glass and Valerie Caye on December 21, 2001. He grew up in the great town of Elmo, and later reunited with his father in Florence before returning home to Polson with his grandmother.

Makeelin attended school in Polson, Florence & Two Eagle River school where he graduated in 2022. Makeelin was a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe. He was currently working at McDonald’s and loved his McDonald’s crew in Polson.

During Mak’s younger days he always enjoyed swimming, attending pow wows, annual Kootenai Falls gathering, and camping. Mak loved playing video games with his best buds, and hanging with the bros making memories that’ll last a lifetime! While attending Two Eagle he joined the basketball team! Towards the end of the season Maky wanted to quit but his teammate Elias Alexander made a petition that if he got everyone to sign it, he couldn’t quit on his boys! That following May, Makeelin walked across the stage and received his diploma! Mak was so proud of himself along with his family & friends. Nobody was prouder of him than his grandmother who he lived with and took care of!

Mak was preceded in death by his grandmother Genevie Eneas, grandfather Jimmy Glass, great-grandparents Homer & Lucille Mills, Albert & Alma Caye, uncles Arron, August, Jerome, Francis Caye, cousins Laurence (La), Miranda (Rosie) Kenmille and Zeke.

Mak is survived by his mother Valerie Caye of Washington, father Jimmy Glass of Polson, siblings Danika Felsman, Nisa Caye, Rakeena Caye, Justine, Aarron and Lucas Healy, grandmother Nancy Glass of Polson, grandpa Brad Eneas of Pablo, aunties Crystal (Marco) of Las Vegas, Chrissy of Elmo, Felicity of Bozeman, Catherine (Eldon) of Pablo, Cleo (Bob) of Ronan, Selina of Ronan Niccole of Pablo, uncles Donny (Tracy) of Seattle, Youstah (Crystal) of Pablo, Bassu of Pablo, numerous nieces, nephews and all his close friends.
