Leonard Glee Ridnour

Leonard was born on April 15, 1943, in Vancouver, Washington to Woodrow and Bernice Ridnour. Leonard passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on June 14, 2023, at Logan Health in Kalispell, MT. 

Leonard spent the majority of his life in Polson, MT. Most of his time was spent logging with Wild Cat logging. In his free time Leonard enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, making jerky, growing tomatoes, and of course drinking some Natural Ice. 

Leonard is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Karen Ridnour and his sister Judy Schiele Zaniewski. He is survived by his children Darcy (Terry) Biever of Alberta, Canada, Teresa (Carl) Leuth of Spokane, WA, Katherine Tripplet of Polson, MT, Laura Dawn Rivera of Spokane, WA, and son Kenny Bill (Jennifer) Ridnour of Polson, MT, 13 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren. 

Anyone who knew Leonard knew he was an onry old fart, but he was our onry old fart and he will be greatly missed. 

A celebration of life for Leonard will be held on August 12, 2023, at Leonard’s home at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to come and share a story of Leonard if they would like.
