Obituary for
Joshua Leroy Normandeau
Joshua LeRoy (Lobdell) Normandeau was born May 29, 1985 in Polson. He passed away October 12, 2017 at Kalispell Regional Hospital from complications due to Huntington’s Chorea with family by his side.
Joshua loved hiking, fishing, his “walk abouts” and anything to do with the outdoors. He greatly enjoyed his Nieces, Nephews, and family gatherings where there was a lot of laughter and joking. Throughout the years, Joshua established lasting bonds with his caregivers. Joshua had a very large family that loved him and they will all miss him fiercely.
Joshua is survived by his parents: Rose Tomasik and Steve Normandeau (birth father Steven Lobdell), brother Eric Tomasik and wife Julie, sister Carol Wegner and husband Neal, brother Rob Hayes, brother Brice Normandeau and wife, Tabitha, brother Jack Normandeau, sister Fontella Webster and husband Frank, sister Victoria Ann (Lobdell) Normandeau; and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He is preceded in death by: his birth mother Catherine Lobdell, sister Melisa Olivia (Lobdell) Normandeau, Grandmother Rosemary “Bun” Leaverton, Grandfather Louis Normandeau, Uncle Lee Miller and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
The family would like to give special thanks to St. Luke Hospital and his caregivers at Mission Mountain Enterprise. Sincere appreciation to the ambulance crews and staff at Kalispell Regional Hospital.
Rosary services will be held on Thursday, October 19th at 7p.m. and funeral mass will be Friday, October 20th at 2p.m. at the Ronan Sacred Heart Parish.
