Obituary for Josephine Ann Black

Josephine (JoAnn) A. Black passed away November 15, 2014 at her home on Flathead Lake, MT. She was born Josephine A. Blair on January 14, 1926 to Jack and Laura Blair in Missoula Montana.
She graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Education and was a lifelong Griz fan. JoAnn taught school in Helena Montana. While skiing at Belmont, she met Joseph A. Black Jr. They married in 1955 or as the saying goes "Blair took the dive in 55". They lived in Helena, Glendive and Billings. She worked at Will James Jr. High School in Billings, coaching 7th grade girls' basketball and track. Upon retirement, they moved to Flathead Lake.
JoAnn and Joe raised five children together until his death in 2009. JoAnn is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for the summer of 2015 at her beloved Flathead Lake.
