James Richard Guilliot, II, age 56, passed away on August 25, 2020 at his home. His passing was sudden, leaving those who knew and loved him in shock. Richard was born on June 27, 1964 in Biloxi, MS to parents James Richard, Sr. and Mary Louise Guilliot. He was the oldest of six children.
When Richard was twelve his family moved to Renton, WA. After school, he began working various construction and then HVAC jobs and created his own business building and doing HVAC.
For those that knew Richard, knew he lived life fully, embracing each day to its fullest; he loved his family, his friends, NASCAR and enjoying time in the beautiful mountains around his home with family hunting and exploring.
He met the love of his life in 1989, Vickie Lynn Guilliot. They married in 1989 and created a life and home together raising their two children, Richard Guilliot, III and Makaala Marie Guilliot, first living in Cle Elum, WA and then moving to Republic, WA and eight years ago they moved the family to Polson. MT and make a new start and home. He worked hard for his family, creating a beautiful home and worked for Polson Propane until a work injury forced him to go on disability.
Richard leaves behind his wife Vickie, son J.R., daughter Makaala, grandsons Jordan and Jack, his parents, all of his siblings and so many friends there are too many to mention…he loved you all.
The family held a Celebration of Life on August 29th and at a later date, the family will hold a private ceremony to spread Richard’s ashes.
