Obituary for
James J. Emborg
James J. Emborg, age 76, of Lake Stevens, WA passed away Friday November 13, 2015 with family in Polson, Montana. He was born in Billings, Montana on April 6, 1939 to James and Virginia L. (Harris) Emborg.
He was a 1957 graduate of Billings Senior High School. He was a meat cutter for over 35 years. He first worked in Billings and then moved to Missoula in 1966 before moving to Bellevue, WA in 1968. He returned to Montana in 1973 for two years in Kalispell before going back to Lake Stevens, Washington. Most of his years as a meat cutter were with Safeway before he retired in Lake Stevens, WA in 2004.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia Emborg of Billings, brother Daniel T. Emborg of Billings and sisters Cheryl A. Emborg of Portland, Oregon and Margaret A. Jeppesen of Scapose, Oregon; son Patrick Emborg of Granite Falls, WA, daughters Pamela (Robert) Bonner of Polson, MT, and Prudence Crampton of Evergreen, MT and two other sons Richard Black of Granite Falls, WA and David Black of Bothell, WA; his first wife, Alice Blasdell of Kalispell, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
James was preceded in death by his father in 1991 and his wife Rochelle (Grantham) Emborg in 2010.
A memorial in Billings, MT is planned with the date to be determined.
