Harley Gordon Sullivan
Harley Gordon Sullivan, 90, of Pablo, MT, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson. Harley was born on December 8, 1919 in San Saba, TX, a son of John and Lula Johnson Sullivan. He was one of eleven siblings: four brothers and seven sisters. Harvey later moved to the Napa, CA area working as a painting contractor and married Nola Stockman. Together they raised four girls and two boys. In 1974, Harley moved to Montana and in 1975 married Anna Storm Harris. Harley continued his paint contracting business throughout Montana. He was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed to hunt and fish. All those who knew Harley loved him dearly and also knew the love he had for his children and grandchildren. Besides his parents, Harley is predeceased by his wife, Anna, who passed away in May 2010: three children, Larry Sullivan, Cliff Sullivan, and Kathy Dobbs. Survivors include four daughters, Karla Reiswig of American Canyon, CA, Lori Kay Hansen of Springfield, OR, Karen Peterson of Eugene, OR, and Cindy Olson of Polson, MT: three grandsons, Nicholas Olson, Rocky Olson, and Roger Olson: numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and services are planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harvey's memory to the Shriners Hospitals for Children at www.shrinershq.org.
