Grant Wayne Bleazard (Red)
Grant Wayne (Red) Bleazard, 81, of Pleasant Grove, UT and formerly of Polson, MT, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010 with his children at his side he passed to the other side. While we will miss him, we know that he is happy with Donna at his side and a fishing pole in his hand. Grant was born on mother's day May 9, 1929, in West Jordan, Utah to Cleo Laverna and Mark Vincent Bleazard. The best mother's day gift his mother ever got. He was raised in Murray, Utah with his 10 siblings. Grant joined the United States Air Force in 1946. He served in Japan for four years. He continued to serve his country at Toole Army Depot as the lead track and wheel inspector. Upon retirement he and Donna moved to Polson, Montana. He married the jewel of his eye Donna Joyce Hubner in 1951. He loved camping along with fishing: exploring the West Desert and Capital Reef with his children. Grant loved to serve others. He was a cub master while his boys were going through the program. He was a great home teacher and loved to visit and serve the families that he was assigned. Grant showed his love and support to his wife while she was serving as Primary President, he often joked about being the assistant to the primary president. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna Joyce Hubner, parents, brothers, Mark, Dale and Roy: sisters, Jean, Lois and Nancy. He leaves behind his children Randy (Deb), Nadene (divorced), Vickie (Mark), Mike (Marlous), and Guy. He will be missed by his sixteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great grandchild. Siblings, Bob (Gail), Brenda (John) Vincent and Jay Bleazard. A viewing will be held at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday June 1, 2010. Funeral services will be held locally on Saturday June 5, 2010 at the Polson LDS Chapel, 4th Ave. E., Polson, Montana at 11:30 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the Lakeview Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com or to www.groganfuneralhome.com.
