Frederick Barclay "Fred" Gray
Frederick Barclay Gray, 67, of Polson, MT and Mesa, AZ passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at his son's home.
He was born October 3, 1947, in Marlborough, MA, to Charles and Carolyn Gray, and spent his childhood on Stow, MA. After high school graduation he attended Nichols College for two years and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force; he served his enlistment in Fairbanks, AK. Upon his honorable discharge as an E5 Staff Sargent he attended the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
On August 26, 1972 Fred and Rose Marie (Loveless) Gray were united in marriage; divorced in 1977; re-married on November 26, 1980, and again divorced on October 14, 2014. To this union were born Jason (1974) and Janene (1975).
Jobs throughout his lifetime included: police officer, airport security/rescue, gold miner, cowboy, dam manager, and golf course ranger.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Rose Marie, Lima; son, Jason Gray, Polson; daughter, Janene (Steve) Love, Charlo; four grandchildren; brothers, Steve and Tim; sisters, Rhonda and Pam, and all their families of Massachusetts.
Private services will be in Lima, MT. We ask that you make a donation to the charity of your choice in honor of Dad. May he rest in peace.
