Fred Stanley Ellis

Fred Stanley Ellis, 75, of Polson, MT passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010 at Kalispell Regional Hospital. Fred was born on February 1, 1935 in Phoenix, Ariz. to Fred M. and Adele (Baker) Ellis. Fred was proud of his service with the US Air Force as a flight medic in Germany & Vietnam. He was a Las Vegas and local entertainer-playing guitar and singing, as well as presenting karaoke. Montana provided Fred with multiple venues for the hunting and fishing that he loved. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Roy Miles Ellis and a daughter Lisa Marie Ellis. He is survived by his wife of 46 years- Cheryl of Polson, his son Darin Joseph Ellis of Austin, TX and a sister Jimmie Carol Ellis of Crescent City, Calif. He is also survived by his daughter Gwen of Buena park, Calif., sons Tahoo & mark, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephew David Paul Ellis of Tacoma,WA., niece Elizabeth of Missouri and uncle Roy Ellis of Calif. He shared a special connection with Melody Mergenthaler. The family expresses their gratitude to the staff of Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
