Obituary for
Etta Jean Diehl
Etta Jean Diehl, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 26, 2017 in Kalispell. She was born on July 6, 1933 in Spokane, WA the daughter of Howard and Gladys (Morigeau) Brackett.
She graduated from Hot Springs High in 1951 and then attended Knapp Business School in Tacoma, WA. In 1954, she married Russell Diehl in Hot Springs. They were married for 64 years. She was a member of the Salish & Kootenai Tribes. She worked for several years as an Executive Assistant in Tribal Administration.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband Russell; her daughter Debbie Anderson and her son Dan Diehl and his wife Jenifer; her grandchildren, Jara McMann (Casey), Erik Anderson (Skyelar), Ryan Diehl, Courtney Diehl and Collin Diehl and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Emma and her siblings, Jerry, Roy and Helene.
Memorial services for Jean are scheduled for Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at The Lake Funeral Home in Polson. All are welcome to celebrate Jean’s life.
