Ellen Marie Lobdell

Ellen Marie Lobdell, 80, of Polson, MT. passed away on Sept. 5, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her family. Ellen was born on Sept. 14, 1930 in Chelsea, Mich. to Jim & Delores Wright. She grew up and attended schools in Michigan. Ellen married LeRoy Lobdell on Aug. 9, 1952 in Dexter, Michigan. They moved to San Diego, Calif. in 1962 and lived there until moving to Polson, MT in 1972. Ellen was preceded in death by her great granddaughter- Little Angel and a sister- Margaret Moore. She is survived by her husband LeRoy of Polson and 5 children- Vickey (Steven) Griffin of Polson, Steve Lobdell of Polson, Tony (Linda) Lobdell of Gunnison, Colorado, Susan Fairchild of Polson & Erwin (Wendy) Lobdell of Charlo, MT., 17 grandchildren & numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Barb Wacker of Dexter, Mich., 2-sister-in-laws & 1 brother-in-law. Memorial may be made to the Lake County Relay For Life.
