Edward Alfred Sharbono, age 83, of Polson passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, in Polson because of many health issues.
Ed was born July 8, 1939, in Sidney, MT to Alva J. and Eileen (Diess) Sharbono. He was educated in Missoula and was also in the Army Reserves.
Ed married LaValle “Val” A. Ridnour on July 11, 1959, in Missoula, MT. They were married 63 ½ years.
Ed worked at lumber mills before he became self-employed. He hauled on the Alaskan pipeline, the Libby Dam, Trego tunnel, over the road and he hauled lots of logs.
He loved racing stock cars in Pablo, Kalispell, and Missoula. Ed also enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching NASCAR.
Ed was preceded in death by his mother Eileen and his father Alva; five brothers, Jim, Larry, Vern, Duane, and Alva Dean; three sisters, Donna, Marlene and Audrey; mother-in-law, Betty Ridnour and father-in-law Bud Ridnour.
Ed is survived by his wife, Val; daughter, Valoree Wolfe; son, Eddie (Shelly) Sharbono; grandsons, Steven (Dawn) Largent, Michael (Kastle) Largent, Jonathon (Mycal) Largent, Nick (Amaya) Wolfe, Joshua (Deidre) Sharbono, Jake (Michelle) Sharbono, Dwayne (Bobbi Folden), Caleb Sharbono, Nick Mangels; granddaughter, Denae Brooker; great grandsons, Louis, Edward, Wally, Ryan, William, Clayton, Kooper, Parker; great granddaughters, Karmin, Nevaeh, Pebbles, Ava, Ella, Scarlet, Aubrey, Clara, Makenzie, and Ellie; brother Bob (Marcy) Rebenitch; sisters-in-law, Claudena (Dick) Olson, Debbie (Shane) Field and Carol Sharbono; also nieces, nephews and cousins.
