Dungan McCauley
Dungan Harland McCauley age 89 of Polson passed away on Monday, August 17, 2009 at Polson Health & Rehab Center from natural causes. He was born December 27, 1919 in Billings, Montana to Daniel H and Josephine Dungan McCauley. He grew up in Laurel and attended school in Laurel and graduated from Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA. Dungan attended the University of Arizona and the University of Montana. During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater. After his discharge from the service he worked for Morrison-Knutson Construction Company for 7 years before joining the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA). His wife Juanita preceded him in death in December of 2001. He is surivived by his children, Daniel McCauley and Susan Chathem, sister Joan Hargrave, nephew, James Daniel Hargrave and by his close friends Keith McCurdy and Lucy McCrumb of Polson. No services are planned for Dungan and his cremains will be interred next to his wife at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell. Arrangments under the care of Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory.
