Dorene Bourdon

Dorene Bourdon was born February 8, 1970 to Lorene Zackuse and Greg Dupius at the Holy Family Hospital in St. Ignatius Montana. Columbus and Francis Bourdon raised her. Dorene is 49 years young.

She died November 3 2019 in her home in Pablo Montana with Alonzo Brings Yellow. No one could be as dizzy or as blond as Dorene. No one could party as hard as she could. When she was doing well she did good but when she fell, she partied hard. Everyone will miss her. Love you Dorene

Her education consists of going to St. Ignatius grade school, middle school and high school she was always on the honor roll. She was recently enrolled in some online courses with Colorado Tech University she was on the Dean’s list.

She had to see the world she went to Lodi California, got pregnant come back to Montana, and had Malina Bourdon. Then she moved to Mission, got pregnant by Emil Ashley, and had Becky Ashley. She has seen a lot of the world like the Bahamas, Washington and various other exotic places.

She had a job at Great Falls Arby’s and she worked at Tribal Health in the medical Records department.

Her hobbies she loved to do were puzzles, coloring, reading novels, crafts, decorating her homes, she really loved animals, playing games on her phone, gambling, she was a walking TV guide. She hated bugs, spiders and she was deadly scared of bees. I can’t recall the times she went ape shit when she seen a bee etc.

We found a letter she wrote and it said, “Life was hard on me, but my two girls Becky and Malina always knew that their mamma loved them more than the world. All I ever wanted for them was to have the opportunity to go far in life and to be able to achieve the things that I wish I could have if only I had made better decisions. I would like my children Malina and Becky to know that they were and still are my #1’s. Momma loved them dearly and always will”

She was preceded in death by Columbus Bourdon, Francis Matt Bourdon, Greg Dupius, Ruby Bourdon, Richard Bourdon, Marvin Bourdon, Sonny Arlee, Jimmy Zackuse, Daryl Adams, Dale Adams, and Dean Adams.

Survivors her daughter Malina Bourdon and her children Cynthia Delonte and Sunshine Dreason, daughter Becky Ashley and her children Hartlin, Cordell, Walker, her mother Lorene Zackuse and sister Deedee Birthmark, her auntie Marlene Bourdon and siblings Jimmy Dupuis, Rachel Bowers, Joh nny Arlee, Maureen Bourdon, Darlene Bourdon.

A Wake for Dorene will begin on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at the Longhouse in St. Ignatius with a Rosary on Sunday evening at 7:00 P.M. with a Mass on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mission Catholic Church in St. Ignatius.
