Debbie Lynn Jones, 59, of Polson, passed away November 15th, 2020, with her family by her side. She was born to and affectionately raised by Bill Hunter, Shirley (Green) Hunter and Gene Powers in Missoula, MT on April 19, 1961.
Debbie graduated from Polson High School in 1979. She married Jeffrey Lyle Jones June 19, 1982 and they lived happily while raising their family together in Polson for 38 years. Debbie devoted many years working for the Polson School District as the world’s coolest lunch lady.
Debbie had the most infectious laugh and always brightened any room she was in. Her smile instantly brought warmth and comfort to whoever she was near. Debbie loved her family fiercely, accepted everyone, and cared for all. She was selfless in every act and deed. Debbie was the kind of person you enjoy knowing and treasure forever having known.
Debbie is survived by husband; Jeff, her 4 children; Walter (Ty) Jones of Kennewick, WA, Breanna Stupack (Dalton) of Kalispell, Jessica Allred (Jacob) of Polson, and Brittany Moran (Zach) of Kennewick, WA, as well as her siblings; Cindy Dake (Royce) and Sharon Olson (Bob). She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren; Bridger, Landon, Isabella, Jasmyn, Bailey, Bowen, Gage, and Lux.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Gene Powers and Bill and Shirley (Green) Hunter, her brother Rick Hunter, as well as her mother and father-in-law, Walt and Winnie Jones.
A celebration of life will be held at the Jones residence for both Debbie and Winnie on Saturday, June 26th, 2021 from 11 AM to 2 PM.
