Obituary for David Louis Garcia

David Louis Garcia, 57 of Ronan, passed away on Friday Sept. 24, 2016 at Community Hospital, from an injury sustained in an accident. He was born on September 3, 1959 in Polson, to Donald and Evelena Garcia.
He lived just outside of Polson and went to the Polson public schools. He graduated from the Polson High School in 1977. He then went on to graduate from Tech school for large engine repair. He then moved down to Wyoming and worked in one of the mines on their large equipment for a year.

On August 3, 1991, he married Linda Johnson in Idaho. The couple lived in Polson where he worked for his father for Garcia Logging Company. In 1993 they moved to Ronan. In 2003 Dave started working for Mission Mountain Enterprises, which he enjoyed very much helping and taking care of others. In October 2013 he opened up a business on Main St. in Ronan.

He enjoyed snowmobiling, riding around on his 4 wheeler, building, racing and playing with Radio Controlled cars, hunting and camping with his family and friends. He loved being with and doing things with his family. But his love was doing things with his boys camping up at the lake shore lot. He was always a kid at heart.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, brother, son and uncle; he also took great loving care of his friends. He loved his music, mountains and living life.

He is preceded in death by his younger brother Terry Garcia.

Survivors include his wife, Linda, Ronan; 5 sons and their families, Joshua Garcia of Pablo; Deven Nedved of Missoula; Steven (Beckie) Nedved of Casper, Wyo.; Michael Garcia of Missoula; Dominique Garcia of Ronan; 3 grandchildren; Alexus, Taylor and Justin Nedved, and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The viewing will be on Wednesday 2-5 at The Lake funeral home in Polson, with a dinner at the Tribal Senior Citizen Center.
