Obituary for
Claudia M. Marshall
Claudia (Main, Duncan) Marshall, of Missoula, walked into the arms of her Lord and Savior, May 24, 2014 at the age of 94. She was born April 16, 1920 in Rexburg, ID to Lillie Jones Main and Clifford Cary Main. As a child the family moved to Harlem, MT and lived on a farm.
In 1936, Claudia married Roy Duncan; they had 3 sons, Ron, Doug, and Cliff. Roy passed away just shortly before their 50th anniversary. In February 1990, Claudia married Louis Marshall. Soon after they married, they moved to Polson, MT so Claudia could be closer to her sisters.
Claudia loved to travel and was active in Good Sams. Claudia also enjoyed her friends, beading necklaces, and ceramics.
Claudia is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and 9 siblings.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Ron Duncan (wife Julie) of Polson, Doug Duncan of Polson and Cliff Duncan (wife) Debbie of Missoula; 2 sisters, Pearl Jackson of Polson and Edith Phillips of Hot Springs, 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Claudia was loved by anyone who met her. She was a wonderful loving Mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Anybody was welcome at her home and her dinner table! She loved to feed everyone. She was greatly loved and we will miss her. Services will be at Polson Community Church, 1814 1st Street East, Polson, MT, on Thursday May 29th, at 11:00 am, with Rod Benner officiating.
