Obituary for Carole Ann Perry

Carole Ann Perry, age 72 years young, went to be with our Lord and Savior December 14, 2013. Our Mommy was born on December 10, 1941 in Deer Lodge, Montana. She was adopted soon after by Dave and Dorothy Mahoney. She grew up and went to school in Missoula. On her 19th birthday she met Ken Cheff Sr. They married only weeks later. Together they had four children, Ken Jr., Billy, Roxy Mae, and Wendy. Carole and Ken divorced almost 9 years later, but have remained loving friends ever since. She met and married Steve Perry. Together they had a daughter, Stephanie. In 1977 they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where they later divorced. She was a single mom who worked hard to raise her three girls. Carole also spent 9 years raising two of her grandchildren, Heather and Jason, both whom hold a very special spot in her heart.
Through 1977 and 1992 Mom lived in SLC, Utah, San Diego, CA, Ketchikan, AK and Auburn, WA before moving back to Montana which held much of her family and her heart. She had to say goodbye to many of those loved ones after she moved back home. Kenny's beautiful young daughter (Amanda), Her Daddy (Dave), her Daughter-in law (Carol) and our brother Billy who held the strings of her heart.
Mom worked for Missoula's Head Start Program for 9 years where she did what she loved doing, working with children. She finally retired at the young age of 69. Mom was a devoted friend to many and will be greatly missed by them all.
We, Kenny, Roxy, Wendy, and Stephanie, our spouses Bill McDermott, Shawna Peterson, Ele Faafiti, our children and their spouses, Scotty (Noelle), Heather (Bassam), Brice, Chrystale, Jason, Tyler, Carole, David, Britney, Colten, Kyle, Taylor, Cassidy, and Reagan and 9 great grandchildren will all greatly miss our mom, grandma and great grandma. We will cherish each day that our Lord blesses us with, just as she did.
Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 1:00pm at the Terrace Lake Community Church, formally Ronan Alliance Church, followed by a graveside service at the Ronan Cemetery. A reception will follow back at the church.
