C. Arthur Fors

C. Arthur Fors, 94, long time resident of Polson, MT, died of natural causes on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at his home. Born April 30, 1916 in Salt Lake City, UT to Swedish immigrants, Carl S. and Sofia Edling Fors. He then married Amelia Attey, on April 19, 1941 in Salt Lake City. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, we thank him for his legacy. He was a veteran of WWII, worked as a carpenter for over 41 years, and was a member of the LDS church. Those left with cherished memories are his loving wife of 69 years, Amelia, and their four children, James A. Fors, Janet (John) Petrosky, Karen (Ed) Tabacco, Paul (Sandi) Fors, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The Fors family wishes to express their appreciation for the care and support received during Art's passing. A celebration of Art's life will be held this coming summer and details will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Art's name to Partners in Home Care Hospice at 6 13th Ave. E., Polson, MT 59860.
