Blanche Aagot Rohrenbach born February 23, 1939, in Culbertson Montana to Leonard W. and Harriet Moen, went peacefully to heaven on December 31, 2022, in Polson, MT.
Blanche’s early years were spent in Culbertson, MT, where she met and married Kenneth Rohrenbach. After a short stay in Havre, MT, they fell in love with Polson, where they would raise their family and remain for the rest of their lives.
With a servant heart, Blanche was a busy working mom who held many different jobs throughout her life. She actively volunteered at her church, Good Shepherd Lutheran and would continue to volunteer until she could no longer physically do so. Blanche knew no strangers; she was always the first person to welcome new people to town or to her church. She had a fun side; often times she was the winner of the Crazy Days costume contests for the 25 years she worked as a sales associate at Shenamen’s/First Resort. She was an active volunteer in her community. If you knew Blanche, you would have made a friend for life. She was the shining star of her family, and she was loved deeply by all who were touched by her sweet spirit.
Blanche is preceded in death by her one and only love, Kenneth D. Rohrenbach, her parents, her brothers, Sigurd and Leonard Moen.
Blanche is survived by sisters, Louise Torgerson (Art) and Susan Moen, her four children, Harriet McClung (Rick), Kent Rohrenbach, Dr. Michael Rohrenbach (Mara), Ruth Hank (Anthony). She was adored by her grandchildren Jillian Thompson (Joe), Neil McClung (Morning Star), Seth Rohrenbach (Kristin), Kevin Rohrenbach, Max McClung, Lindy Key (Francis), Rachel Rohrenbach, Carly Bradshaw (Steven), Noah Hank, Myah Hank and Micah Hank, and great grandchildren Lilly McClung, Yarra McClung, Roger Thompson, Meleana Key, Hannah Key, Avalon Rohrenbach, Austrie Bradshaw, Aemon McClung, and Duke Rohrenbach. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special friends who became family.
Blanche was well known for wearing the BEST hats, feel free to honor her by wearing a hat to her service on January 7, 2023, at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Polson, MT.
