Betty Ann Mason, age 78, of Polson, Montana, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital after a long and courageous struggle.
Betty was born on October 14, 1946, in Van Nuys, California, to Paul Hensley and Martha Patin, of Kentucky and Louisiana, respectively. She spent much of her adult life in Walnut Creek, California, where she created many lasting memories and connections. She was married to Lowell for 49 wonderful years, sharing a life full of love, commitment, and cherished moments.
Betty dedicated over 20 years as the Controller for MasonBPP Inc., where her expertise and leadership left a lasting impact. She also shared a special bond with her beloved golden retriever, Magic, whose companionship brought her immense joy. Betty's ability to empathize was truly remarkable, and she had a way of making everyone she met feel seen, heard, and appreciated. Her warmth and kindness touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of love and compassion.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband, Lowell, who will forever cherish the memories of their time together.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at her home in Polson on June 14, 2025. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to come together to remember her with love and gratitude.
